Overview

Mikumi National Park Road Safari is a short tour from Dar es Salaam Tanzania, which takes you to visit one of the spectacular southern circuit National parks of Tanzania. A good surfaced road connects Mikumi to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro, it take around 6 hours drive.) The park is well known for its population of elephants, lions, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Dar-es-Salaam /Mikumi National Park

Our driver guide will pick you from Dar-es-salaam early in morning around 0600am, then drive to Mikumi National Park with a short stop for cup of coffee on the way. Arrival in Mikumi, mid morning, then departs for game drive to explore Mikumi National Park. The park is one of Tanzania's larger parks and has excellent bird life as well, as being good for viewing predators. Leave the park in the time for sunset then transfer to Hotel for overnight.

Day 2 :
Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam

Depart at 0630am for early game drive after breakfast, the game drive will take 6 hours and later start driving back to Dar es SalaamThe fauna includes many species characteristic of the African Savannah.
